Make Yourself Comfortable: My New PortaLite Massage Table

I’ve added something new to my incall space: a black PortaLite Classic massage table, set up in the living room and ready for your next visit. I love putting thought into the surroundings, from the lighting and music to the little practical touches that help you feel welcome. This latest addition brings even more comfort to the room.

A Table Chosen with Comfort in Mind

The PortaLite Classic has a sturdy beechwood frame and 5cm of double-layered foam, giving you a cushioned surface with reassuring support underneath. Its soft upholstery makes a lovely finishing touch, while the adjustable head cradle and contoured face cushion help you find a comfortable position.

It wasn’t cheap but I wanted something sturdy and strong enough to be safe for the weight of two people so I can do naked body slides on it.

There’s also a hanging arm shelf and side arm supports, giving you somewhere to rest your arms as you settle in. These details might sound small, but they’re part of what drew me to this particular table. I wanted something thoughtfully designed, with comfort at the centre of it.

Soft Lighting, Music and Warm Oil

The new table sits in my living room, surrounded by soft lighting that gives the space a calm, welcoming feel. The Bose speaker system provides the music, helping set an easy, relaxed pace from the moment you arrive.

There’s an oil warmer close by, too, keeping everything ready for your massage. A drinks fridge completes the setup, with a chilled drink available when you fancy a refreshment. Together, these touches make the room somewhere you can take a breath and leave the busy day outside.

A Look Inside the Bedroom

The bedroom has its own distinct atmosphere. A steel-frame king-size bed with rubber sheets forms the centrepiece, with LED lights adding colour and a giant mirror completing the room.

There’s another Bose speaker in here, so music is part of both spaces. I’ve also made sure there are plenty of towels, tissues and wipes within easy reach. Having the essentials close at hand keeps the room practical as well as comfortable.

For me, creating a welcoming space means paying attention to both the larger pieces and the smaller details. The new PortaLite table fits beautifully into that approach, alongside the lighting, sound and comforts already in place.
