LAM London Alternative Market New Venue

Last Sunday, I decided to visit the London Alternative Market (LAM) at their exciting new venue, Sway Bar near Holborn.

For those who aren’t familiar, LAM is a fantastic monthly event that brings together a vibrant community of people interested in kink, BDSM, and alternative lifestyles.

It’s a great place to explore new toys, meet like-minded individuals, and get inspired for creative play.

This month, they moved to a new venue, Sway Bar near Holborn, and I was eager to see how it compared to the previous one at Revolution Bar.

It looks like Revolution has closed down entirely which is a shame. I had some fun times there. The play-space during the LAM after parties in the old bank vaults was legendary.

First Impressions of the New Venue

Walking into the new space, I was immediately struck by how spacious and well-organized it was. The layout upstairs is very open. There are some stalls around one side of the room but most of the upstairs space is seating and the bar. This makes it much easier to get to the bar than the old venue and you can see everyone from anywhere in the room which makes it much easier to see any familiar faces in the crowd.

Downstairs is where most of the market stalls are.

I particularly appreciated the separate areas for socializing and shopping. In the old venue, these were often mixed together, which could make things feel a bit cramped. Here, there was a clear distinction, allowing for a more relaxed shopping experience and a more intimate social atmosphere.

Stalls That Caught My Eye

I love the designs by Freebound Studio. I saw a vegan leather and rose gold collar I liked and also a heavy rose gold choker chain. With my matching rose gold cuffs securing my wrists behind my back, my spreader bar on my ankles and that choker chain on a tightening leash, the breath play orgasms you could force out of me with my Doxy wand. mmm.

Final Thoughts

Overall, my visit to LAM at the new venue was an absolute delight. The space was more accommodating, the variety of stalls was impressive, and I left with so many new ideas for my sessions. If you haven’t visited LAM yet, I highly recommend it. It’s a great opportunity to explore new toys, meet like-minded individuals, and get inspired. I can’t wait to return next month and see what new delights await!
